By combining some of our downloadable maps it is possible to create a circular 28 mile route around the East Wight that includes part of the Red Squirrel Trail and takes in some spectacular coastal scenery as well as the beautiful water meadows of the Eastern Yar River.
The loop can be joined at a number of places including the ferry terminal at Ryde (and they take bikes!), Newport and Sandown. The majority of the loop is on cycle-tracks, off-road routes and quiet roads.
